The Love of GOD

No matter the season or time, it’s always the season to acknowledge and embrace the love of GOD. 1 John 4:9 says, This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.” GOD loves you and me so much that He sent His Son into the world because He knew that because of our sinful nature, we would need a Savior.

There’s nothing like the love of GOD. There’s nothing like being loved by GOD.

1 John 3:1, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”

GOD loves you; GOD loves me so much that we should be called children of GOD. We are GOD’S Children. You are GOD’s Child. I want to remind you that you are a child of GOD. As I learned from my Apostle, mentor, and grandfather, Dr. Oscar J. Nelson Dowdell-Underwood, because GOD loves us, we are created in His Image. You have GOD in you, and GOD is with you since you are GOD’S beloved. GOD has not forgotten about you. So no matter what you are called to go through or whatever you are facing right now, Abba GOD’S love is present. Don’t turn your back on GOD. GOD loves you. Father GOD’S love is not limited, nor is it conditional. No matter what you have done, GOD loves you. No matter what struggles you’re battling, GOD loves you. No matter what negative thoughts you may have, GOD still loves you. No matter what mistake you have made, GOD loves you! Whatever you do, you must do what I had to do: to settle that GOD loves me unconditionally.

So out of that same love that GOD loves you with, You must learn to love yourself.

As my spiritual father and grandpa have taught me, you are transformed in GOD’S love, and old things are passed away.  Knowing GOD loves you shapes your ability to love not only yourself but others. Mark 12:30-31, “ Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. ‘The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. ‘There is no commandment greater than these.”

I encourage you to take a moment to thank GOD for loving you. Lift your hands and say, “Thank you, Lord, for loving me. “I want you to declare the following affirmations.

GOD, I am loved by you.

GOD, you love me in spite of my imperfections.

GOD, you love me in spite of my mistakes and failures.

Daddy GOD, I thank you for loving me!

In closing, Make it a habit to declare Father’s love for you and embrace GOD’S love by accepting his love for you, so that whatever is not of GOD can be replaced by the love of GOD. GOD loves you. Yesterday is gone; don’t focus on the past or your past mistakes. GOD’S love took care of that on the Cross when He sent his one and only son to die on the cross for us. It is GOD’S love that makes us totally possible in Him. Possible to dream the impossible. Write the impossible. Create the impossible. Mark 9:23: All things are all possible to him who believes.
