The Immeasurable Riches of GOD’S Love

“For GOD so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For GOD did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” (John 3:16 NIV)

There is nothing to compare to GOD’S love for humanity. John 3:16 is one of many scriptures that sums up GOD’S love for His people. How much more can GOD love us, believers and unbelievers alike? Scripture denotes that He “so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son.” There is nothing that can compare to GOD’S love. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

While humanity was dead in our transgressions, “because of His great love for us, GOD, who is rich in mercy” (Ephesians 2:4) provided for Himself an acceptable sacrifice for the remission of the sins of humanity. This love is the transcendent agape′ love of GOD. GOD’S love is supreme, existing apart from and not subject to limitations. Echoing Apostle Paul, “I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from GOD’S love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow – not even the powers of hell can separate us from GOD’S love…. indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of GOD that is revealed in CHRIST JESUS our LORD” (Romans 8:38-39 NLT). And this is not because I first loved Him, but because He first loved me (I John 4:19).

Now all glory to GOD, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” (Ephesians 3:20 NLT)

To Him who loves us with such an immeasurable, incomprehensible love which is more than the natural mind can fathom, to Him be praise, glory, and honor forever and ever! For this purpose, we were created: “for the display of GOD’S splendor” (Isaiah 61:3). Because of GOD’S great grace, tender mercies, and loving kindnesses shown toward us in CHRIST JESUS, we can come boldly and confidently before Him “to obtain mercy and find grace to help in (our) time of need” (Hebrews 4:16, emphasis added).  There is no condemnation to those in CHRIST JESUS because He came not to condemn His people but to rescue us. He took our unrighteousness and gave us His righteousness. In CHRIST JESUS, we are “oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the DISPLAY of His SPLENDOR” (Isaiah 61:3 NIV)

“ . . . . He was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left GOD’S paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on Him the sins of us all. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet He never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, He did not open His mouth.” (Isaiah 53:5-7 NLT)

Because He (CHRIST JESUS) has borne the iniquities of us all and our believing in Him, we can approach GOD, Abba Father. THANK YOU, CHRIST JESUS! 

Oh, how immeasurable are the riches of GOD’S love! It was too small a thing for His Son, His Servant, to restore only the tribes of Jacob and to bring back those of Israel, which He had kept. GOD sent Him to be The Light for all of humanity, all nations, to bring salvation to the ends of the earth.

“And now the LORD says, Who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, to bring Jacob back to Him, so that Israel is gathered to Him . . . Indeed He says, ‛It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as light to the Gentiles, that You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ” (Isaiah 49:5-6 NKJV)

“All praise to GOD, the Father of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, Who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with CHRIST. Even before He made the world, GOD loved us and chose us in CHRIST to be holy and without fault in His eyes. GOD decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through JESUS CHRIST. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure. So we praise GOD for the glorious grace He has poured out on us who belong to His dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered His kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding . . . “– Ephesians 1:3-8 NLT.

Oh, how immeasurable are the riches of GOD’S LOVE! 

“What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If GOD is for us who can ever be against us?> Since He did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up for us all, won’t He also give us everything else?” (Romans 8:31-32 NLT)

Praise the LORD at all times, in every situation and circumstance, because of His BLESSED ASSURANCE that in ALL things He works FOR THE GOOD of those who love and trust Him, who have been called according to His purpose, by CHRIST JESUS. GOD loves us immeasurably, without end!
