Inspirational Spotlight: Mrs. Cheryl Porter 

Anointed, gifted, unique, and beautiful are just a few words that describe the globally renowned vocal coach, Cheryl Porter. She possesses a mothering spirit—one who helps birth the potential in every person she encounters. She is affectionately referred to as Mama Cheryl. She inspires people to pursue their dreams, face their fears, and overcome life’s challenges. What makes Mrs. Cheryl Porter truly remarkable is her faith in GOD, which empowers her to be a beacon of hope for so many. Her influence is global, reaching people through her coaching sessions, her academy, her social media presence, and her ministry.

Born and raised in the United States, Mrs. Cheryl was introduced to GOD, church, and gospel music from a very young age. Her faith has clearly shaped her identity, purpose, and confidence. As a result, she serves as a powerful example for anyone who struggles with identity, faith, or self-confidence. Mrs. Cheryl’s faith and confidence are so contagious that anyone who interacts with her, whether through social media or her coaching sessions, feels empowered. I personally experienced this when I began following Mrs. Cheryl on TikTok. She is energetic and loving, and she even responded to some of the encouraging comments I left on her videos.

Mrs. Cheryl Porter is a vocal coach for people at every stage of their singing journey, from beginners who are afraid to sing to professionals and aspiring artists. As the founder of Cheryl Porter Vocal Coach, her passion is not a job but a ministry to help unlock the dormant possibilities within people. She offers online vocal lessons and masterclasses, as well as live performances, workshops, and global tours. She is known and respected around the world. By her side is her loving and supportive husband, Dr. Guido Torelli, who is also the founder and CEO of Cheryl Porter Method LLC.

Mrs. Cheryl Porter’s inspiration goes beyond music. She inspires confidence, freedom, and courage. She encourages her students to believe in themselves, use their gifts boldly, and overcome fear. She has worked with beginner singers, Broadway performers, celebrities, and famous YouTubers. Her talent has also led her to Broadway, where she appeared as Angélique in the hit musical & Juliet. She has appeared on many television shows and performed on major stages around the world, both solo and alongside other great celebrities.
