Gaining Clarity in life isn’t an ambiguous exercise. You just need to sit down and sow the seed of time by asking the right questions. It’s as simple as asking and sincerely answering the following questions:
-What exactly do I want?
-Why do I want it?
-How will it benefit me?
-How will people around me or the society at large benefit from my desire?
-Is my desire against the will of God?
-Does my desire advance the purpose of God?
-What will it COST me to get what I want?
If you can sincerely write down your answers to those questions and present them to God for wisdom, you’ll not remain the same. He will lead you to someone; it could be a mentor, coach, or friend who has the knowledge and understanding of what you want. Please, maximize that solution. He could even bring a book, article, podcast, or audio sermon across your way that conveys a solution to your desire. Take advantage of the opportunity. If nothing changes, go back and pray again and again, then ask relevant questions from at least two people who have similar results that align with your desire.
Before you conclude that you lack clarity, have you gone out of the “noise” of the world and isolated yourself to ask and answer relevant questions? One thing I’m so sure about is that God honors our sincerity to live a purposeful life. A life that’ll glorify Him, advance His Kingdom, cause us to grow, and impact the lives of people around us.
