“YOU ARE ATTRACTED TO SOMEONE SPECIAL!”

Typically, everyone seeks recognition and approval. Companies are attracted to competent and talented employees, while friends and family may be drawn to wealth and fame. Adults often prioritize a successful career, outerbeauty, and a stable lifestyle. Unfortunately, in this world, lacking these attributes can lead to rejection from both society and our loved ones. Such situations have the potential to shatter us emotionally. There are instances when we desperately crave attention, only to face rejection in certain circumstances. If you find yourself in a seemingly hopeless situation, there is good news for you. There is someone special and remarkable who is there to support, guide, and help you achieve success in life. This article will outline the strategies to develop a strong connection with Him.
He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: He taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, In those that hope in his mercy. Psa. 147:10,11
The preceding verses clearly convey that God, the Creator, is not swayed by the talents, skills, or power of individuals. His perspective differs greatly from that of the world. While the world values exceptional individuals, God seeks those who fear Him and patiently await His mercy. Suppose we shift our focus away from seeking recognition from the world and instead strive to be drawn closer to the LORD, the Creator, by patiently waiting for His mercy. In that case, we will find that the matters and people that once rejected us will come under our influence. We will no longer feel the need to seek the attention of others, as they will be the ones seeking our attention. Hallelujah!
David, the youngest son of Jesse, was tending sheep in the wilderness. His brothers were gifted and skilled to serve in the presence of King Saul. However, when God planned to select a new king for Israel, He did not choose those talented individuals. Instead, He chose David, who wholeheartedly praised Him in the wilderness. David found favor in God’s eyes, and this marked a turning point in his life. As he became drawn to God, he was anointed, and eventually, even his skilled brothers came under his reign in the kingdom (1 Sam. 16).
In your midst, you may encounter numerous individuals with remarkable talents, which might cause you to doubt your own worthiness for a position of honor in society. However, if you earnestly seek the LORD, greatness awaits you. The world’s rejection loses its importance when you are attracted to the LORD. Therefore, let us shift our focus towards being captivated by our beloved Jesus Christ, who never turns away those who approach Him. Amen! Hallelujah!
